My promise & story
When you work with me at Shift, here's what I can promise! You'll never be working off a generic programme with your name stuck on it. It isn't a list of things to tick off and hope something shifts. I've spent 6 years coaching women through exactly where you're at, and what I bring to every single client is not just the qualifications but the lived experience of having been in it myself. The bingeing, excessive food noise, insomnia due to lack of fuelling, confusion in the gym, excessive guilt about rest days and so on and so on... so that's where I coach from.
I'll hold you accountable without making you feel bad about yourself and I'll cheer you on, especially on the days you can't do it for yourself! And I certainly won't lose faith in getting you from A to B (B being your ultimate happy place & goal). The food noise
will get quieter. Not overnight, but gradually! I have a great system formulated after years of working through this with clients (it's not magic but it does work!). Living healthily will start to feel easier and not because you're trying harder but because you've stopped trying to do it the hard way (aka: excessive restriction and following a male-centred model of fitness). We'll build structure that works with your brain, not against it, and remove that overwhelm with weekly action plans guiding you through nutrition, mindset, and habits.

Emma
I'm a certified holistic health coach, nutritionist and personal trainer, passionate about helping women break free from the pressures of dieting and rediscover balance and genuine health in their lives. My health coaching practice has been shaped by my own experiences with healing (learning to trust my body, overcoming self doubt, and embracing a more intentional, grounded way of living).
I now coach women through what I call "reluctant wellness". The women who feel resistant or overwhelmed by traditional health advice. The ones who want to feel well but are tired of the version of wellness that requires them to be at war with themselves, endlessly count calories and stay focused on food noise.
Through 1:1 coaching I have helped hundreds of women reach their goals while also enjoying the process. Not just through willpower but through understanding, self trust, and building habits that work in real life. My programmes are built on everything I have learned, from my own journey and from years of working closely with clients. I'm glad you are here!
